Details regarding the closed beta of Console Versions of Valorant
Now, this is BIG news. A game that has existed since 2020 and is exclusive to PC has finally made its way to Valorant consoles and it was announced at Summer Game Fest, 2024. That’s right. The Non-E3 Gaming Event. For those who don’t know or are curious to find out about the game, Valorant is a 5v5 Character-based Tactical FPS game where it’s not just guns and bullets, but how you use the abilities of your Agent character to win or as it is said in the game, “Clutch” the Round.
And fret not, there are multitude of customization options that will be available once the full game releases, same perks to Valorant console owners as to PC owners. Since only a limited-time beta is announced, you can register yourselves on their main website by providing the required details that they need. Oh, and you won’t be needing any pre-existing Valorant account for that, trust me. For PC Players, that can be readily arranged if you visit our shop at U7BUY, though!
Here is the kicker, though. The beta will be limited only to the regions of the United States of America, the United Kingdom, Canada, Europe, and Japan. Riot Games does say that there is a possibility of rolling out to other remaining global regions shortly thereafter.
Also, there is no cross-platform play between PC and Valorant consoles for competitive reasons but there is, however, cross-progression! That means that any ranks and skins that you have attained and purchased can be carried over to Valorant consoles!
Conclusion
The announcement of the Console Port of Valorant is MASSIVE and it is definitely something that players will be looking forward to once the closed beta launches. Also, Riot has not officially announced it yet, but there have been leaks regarding the release and development of a mobile port of Valorant, which will be available for Android and iPhone devices!
This is another great news that gamers will be looking forward to and Valorant fans will sure be eating good today! Till then, for PC players, it’s time to gear up, hit the shooting gallery, and make the best of your skills!
